By Pilots.

For Pilots.

Our Story

Indy Flight Club was created by pilots, for pilots—because we understand how challenging and expensive it can be to build flight time.

Our mission is simple: make flying more accessible while helping pilots progress toward their 1,500-hour ATP goal. By pairing members with others on the same path, we share aircraft, split costs, and remove many of the financial barriers that slow pilots down.

No ownership headaches. No inflated rental rates. Just a smarter, more economical way to fly more often and move your aviation career forward.

How the Club Works

A smarter way to build flight time—without the cost and commitment of ownership.

Fly more often, split costs with other pilots, and gain reliable access to well-maintained aircraft—so you can focus on building hours, not managing expenses.

1. Become a Member

Join Indy Flight Club with a monthly membership that unlocks excellent hourly rates. Members may also purchase bulk flight hours—50, 100, 150, and more—for additional savings.

2. Schedule and Share Flights

Reserve aircraft through the club and fly solo or with other members. Sharing flights helps reduce costs, increases utilization, and keeps aircraft readily available.

3. Progress Toward Your Goals

Build hours consistently with predictable costs and reliable access to aircraft—whether you’re working toward 1,500 hours or simply flying more regularly.

Why Choose Us?

A different approach to how flight time is billed and flown.

Tach Time Billing (Not Hobbs)

We bill using tach time rather than Hobbs. This rewards efficient flying—powering back in cruise, flying slower, and logging more time while paying less per hour.

No Daily Minimums on Cross-Country Trips

Unlike many flight schools, we don’t charge daily minimum flight hours when aircraft are taken on multi-day cross-country trips. Fly the hours you need—no forced usage.

Dry Rates for Maximum Savings

Aircraft are billed dry, giving you the flexibility to fuel at airports with lower fuel costs and further reduce your overall hourly expense.
